Stopped in to place a custom cookie order and couldn’t resist getting a couple treats to bring back to the office with me. The cake bites are the perfect sweet treats, you can’t go wrong with any flavor. I chose vanilla, banana pudding, Oreo and strawberry. Everything was delicious!
10/10 I came across a post from the bakery somewhere on Facebook. I was out of ideas for Valentine's gifts. Then I decided to check them out. Usually they're closed on Mondays but open for special hours today. When walking in my two very excited children beat me to the door and honestly I walked in with out looking. It was when I walked out that I noticed their mask request sign, so to the owner I do apologize for not respecting that. I would have complied had I noticed, lesson learned for me. Now to the important things, the strawberry's are AMAZING. And the banana nut bread is out of this world. My son got the Emoji brownie and loved it. Thank you for still helping me + my gremlins today and accepting us regardless. Still a giant fan💕

My first visit was a phenomenal experience!!! This bakery has a variety of goodies to choose from. They are very knowledgeable of there products. They are very nice. I will be back to try more. Thanks for making happy treats. They also have doggie treats.
I purchased an assorted box of cake bites. I specifically asked the person behind the counter to include her favorites, the banana pudding and the salted caramel, because I always want to know what the people who work at a bakery eat. I would have been satisfied with a whole box of banana pudding! Wow, was it good. Each pastry costs $2.50, $3, or $6 more or less, and the box was a good deal. They're sweet, but not so sweet they overwhelm you. There's a great distinction of flavor from cake to cake and they're all winners. If I come back to West Columbia, SC, this is a definite stop!
These guys knock it out of the park every time! We have done birthday cakes and a few original requests and they never disappoint. Pictures are a hummingbird cake that we just got yesterday- won’t be around much longer! The other is a special request.. Sorry, I couldn't resist taking a few bites before I took a photo... They did not disappoint! The lemon blueberry cookie is great and the oatmeal cream sandwich (which I got the last one of) was amazing! Friends I was with all raved about their selections as well. Got to speak with the owner and he was very kind and explained the background of some of the items which was very interesting. Will definitely be back!
We stopped in here to get a little dessert after brunch. The lady who runs the bakery is super sweet and didn't bat an eye when I only ordered a cake bite. I highly recommend their banana pudding cake bites! It was so good and is the perfect amount of sweet. I would love to go back and try more of her desserts!
Heather really came through for my wife's birthday cake! Not only was it beautiful, but it was also DELICIOUS and moist! For a gluten-free cake, I was blown away by its quality! 10/10 will be ordering future cakes from here! If you've struggled to find a reputable bakery that knows their way around gluten-free treats without sacrificing the yum factor, Always Original Bakery should be your next go-to!!!
